We are a small non commercial kennels. Our involvement with German Shepherd Dogs spans some twenty years, both in Africa and the UK. We currently have a limited breeding programme, concentrating upon improving the breed in the UK by selectively breeding using German bloodlines. Our show and breeding stock is 100% German and includes top lines. We do not have many litters and to fulfill our purpose, have retained animals from each generation. With each mating, we have introduced or strengthened features to control the progression of the Absela lines.

Over the years, the UK has a history of producing excellent females but a shortage of good stud dogs. We are very excited, since after following our breeding programme, we now have the sort of dog we set out to produce. He has sired his first litters and from early indication we hope that he is going to produce to type.

The animals that we keep are all treated as pets, as our galleries will show. We show regularly in the UK but to us it is just a fun hobby. The real pleasure is in having the ‘best of breeds’ as part of our family.
